The gypsy is constructed from durable marine-grade stainless steel or galvanized steel for corrosion resistance. Chain viscosity is not applicable, but the gypsy operates smoothly with minimal friction. Buoyancy is negligible for steel chains, but nylon rode options may be used in combination.
